Iran Mining and Steel Conference hosted by Khuzestan Steel

Control System Abzar Novin Company’s presence in the 4th Iranian Mining and Steel Conference hosted by Khuzestan Steel
Control System Abzar Novin Company, active in the field of manufacturing analytical, laboratory and research equipment, had a strong and active presence in the 4th Iranian Mining and Steel Conference hosted by Khuzestan Steel. This exhibition was held from 16 Farvardin 1404 to 17 Farvardin 1404 at the Khuzestan Steel Complex and hosted experts and activists from the steel, mining and related industries.
In this specialized event, our company was present at the Novin Instrument Control System booth with the aim of introducing its latest achievements in the field of laboratory analysis devices, including EDXRF (Antique’s) devices, quantometers, mills, polishers and other precision laboratory equipment.
The Novin Instrument Control System Company booth was well received by experts and technical managers from various industries. Visitors, while learning about the performance of the devices, asked their specialized questions directly to our experts and became more familiar with the technical and practical benefits of these products.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the New Instrument Control System Company highlighted its scientific presence in this important event by presenting a specialized article by Mr. Rousta entitled “Application of X-rays in Material Analysis and Comparison of EDXRF and WDXRF Methods”.
In this article, the key role of X-ray technology in the analysis of elements and compositions of materials was examined, and the advantages, limitations, and applications of the two methods EDXRF (energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence) and WDXRF (wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence) were carefully compared.
The main topics of the presentation included the following:
•Basics of XRF technology performance in non-destructive analysis of samples
•Comparison of accuracy, speed and sensitivity of the two methods EDXRF and WDXRF
•Application cases in various industries including steel, mining, cement and foundry
•Key points in selecting the right device based on the type of industrial application
This presentation was well received by participants and technical experts and provided a valuable opportunity to exchange technical knowledge in the field of materials analysis.
Also, attending this conference provided an opportunity to hold discussions with senior managers and activists in the country’s steel market about analytical needs and new solutions for quality control of minerals and steel.
